Welcome to Epaulettes Safaris. These Terms & Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Epaulettes Safaris and our clients. By booking a tour with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms and Conditions outlined below.

If you book on behalf of others (including minors or individuals with disabilities), you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

Booking Your Holiday

1. Booking Process
   a. Your contract is with Epaulettes Safaris, a company registered in Tanzania. All bookings are subject to these Terms.
   b. Complete our booking form and submit it along with a deposit of 20% of the total cost.
   c. Your booking is confirmed only when we issue a written confirmation notice within 48 Hours.

2. Payments
   a. Full payment is required at least 15 days before your departure date. Failure to do so may result in cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit.
   b. Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment upfront.

3. Amendments

   • One set of amendments is allowed free of charge after confirming your itinerary. Additional modifications will incur a fee of $25.

Pricing Policy

1. Prices are quoted in USD and may vary based on exchange rates. Once a booking is confirmed, prices will not change.
2. Payments must be free of bank charges and credit card surcharges.

Cancellation Policies

1. By the Client: Cancellation charges apply as follows:

   • Up to 45 days before arrival: No charge
   • 44 to 30 days: 20% of the total cost
   • 29 to 15 days: 50%
   • 14 to 7 days: 75%
   • 7 days or less: 100%

2. By the Company: If changes or cancellations are necessary, clients will be offered:

   • A change of arrangements
   • An alternative holiday
   • A full refund (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure valid passports, visas, and required documents.
  • Behave in an orderly manner to avoid disrupting the experience of others.
  • Disclose any medical conditions in advance.

• Company Responsibilities

  • We act as agents for third-party service providers (accommodation, flights, etc.). While we select trusted providers, we are not liable for their services.

Risk & Liability

Our tours involve adventurous activities in remote areas. By booking, you acknowledge:

• Potential risks to health and safety.
• Variances in local infrastructure, hygiene, and medical services.

Epaulettes Safaris is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages beyond our control.

Special Requirements

We strive to accommodate dietary, medical, and other special requests, but such requests are subject to availability and do not form a binding agreement.

Complaints

Complaints must be brought to our attention during the tour for resolution. Post-tour complaints should be submitted in writing within 30 days.

Images and Marketing

Clients agree that Epaulettes Safaris may use photos or videos taken during the tour for marketing purposes.

Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Amendments take effect 10 days after publication on our website.
